EL JEFE DE LA NASA, PIENSA QUE «PUEDE EXISTIR VIDA EXTRATERRESTRE».

Bill Nelson «quiere creer». Esta frase quizas traducida al español, pierde mucha fuerza, pero en su idioma original, fue popularizada por el agente fox mulder personaje ficticio de la serie «los expedientes secretos X», quien era fiel creyente en la vida e inteligencia extraterrestre.

Lo que está pasando en los cielos de nuestro planeta, parece sacado de una serie de television, pero es la vida real. Referido al tema, el Jefe de la NASA brindo su punto de vista sobre la serie de avistamientos de ovnis de alto perfil por parte de pilotos de la Marina de los EE. UU.  

Nelson, ex astronauta y senador de Florida, es administrador de la NASA desde mayo. Recientemente habló en una entrevista con la Universidad de Virginia en la que abordó todo; desde las relaciones espaciales con China hasta la cuestión de los avistamientos de vehículos aéreos no tripulados (UAV). En la discusión, Nelson reconoce que hubo más de 300 avistamientos reconocidos de objetos voladores no identificados desde 2004. Sin embargo, sus orígenes siguen siendo misteriosos.

“Hablé con esos pilotos y saben que vieron algo, y sus radares lo detectaron, pero no saben qué es.  No sabemos qué es ”, dijo Nelson al profesor Larry Sabato, director del Centro de Política de la Universidad de Virginia.

“Esperamos que no sea un adversario humano y terrestre que tenga ese tipo de tecnología. Pero es algo. Y nosotros tenemos la misión de estar constantemente buscando, ‘¿Quién está ahí afuera?’ ‘¿Quienes somos?’ ‘¿Cómo llegamos aquí?’ ‘¿Cómo llegamos a ser como somos?’ ‘¿Cómo nos desarrollamos?’ «¿Cómo nos civilizamos?» Y ‘¿existen esas mismas condiciones en un universo que tiene miles de millones de otros soles y miles de millones de otras galaxias?’ Es tan grande que no puedo concebirlo «.

“Ahora incluso hay teorías de que podría haber otros universos”, agregó Nelson. «Y si ese es el caso, ¿quién soy yo para decir que el planeta Tierra es la única ubicación de una forma de vida civilizada y organizada como la nuestra?»

Luego de la difusion de material catalogado como veridico por parte del gobierno estadounidense, los avistamientos de ovnis han recibido un sentido renovado de legitimidad

 . Este año incluso la Oficina del Director de Inteligencia Nacional de EE. UU. Publicó un informe muy publicitado sobre avistamientos de ovnis. El informe no aporta nada nuevo. Concluye que no hay evidencia para confirmar o negar que alguno de los avistamientos pertenezcan a vida extraterrestre. Sin embargo, parece que el gobierno de los EE. UU. finalmente está tomando en serio la idea de los avistamientos de ovnis después de muchas décadas de indiferencia.
